GCell automatic slide scanner is system which use the imaging technology process of rapidly digitizing slide specimens of substances.
A digital slide refers to a high-resolution digital image of a glass slide that contains biological tissue or other types of material. Digitization of slides involves scanning the slide and converting the image into a digital format, which can be easily stored, shared, and analyzed using specialized software.
Digital slides are now commonly used in the field of pathology for accurate diagnosis, sharing of information, and collaboration between medical professionals.
Â
Â
GCell automatic slide scanner has includes whole slide image scanning technology, which allows healthcare providers to digitize and easily access high-quality images of entire tissue samples.
This feature can greatly enhance collaboration and communication among healthcare professionals, as well as support more accurate and efficient diagnoses.
With whole slide image scanning, healthcare providers can save time, reduce costs, and ultimately improve patient care.
Â
Â
GCell automatic slide scan advantage is using the Z-stack, Depth of Field Extension, Multi-layer Fusion Technology. The system uses Z-stack imaging, depth of field extension, and multi-layer image fusion technology to capture complete images of uneven or thick tissues (approximately 20μm).
With each focal plane capturing only a portion of the tissue, it's difficult to capture full images. However, Z-stack imaging and depth of field extension allow for layer-by-layer imaging of the sample.
The system automatically selects the clearest areas and fuses them into a single image, displaying a complete image of the uneven tissue in a single image.
